{Mia's Hospital Visit! - Sort of....}

Here is my LO for the Monthly Sketch at Forever Always.

Well what a day.... We got to dancing this morning and Mia decided that she didn't want to dance which was fine with me....... I am not going to make her dance if she doesn't want too! So I said OK put your jacket on and we will go home - And yes you can all guess we had another episode of "I want too, I don't want too. If I could have got her strapped back into the bike we would have came home but she was too busy crying saying she wanted to dance so I told her to go back in there and dance or we were going home.... She happily went and danced and did a great job, we had another preview of what is to come at the concert in August I can't wait!!!! They are going to be baby elephants.
We came home after dancing to get ready for playgroup, we got to playgroup and Mia asked me to push her on the swing, so I pushed her for a while and I was talking to Kristin at the same time and I wasn't really watching just pushing and Mia must have went to get off, but at the same time I pushed her...... I felt so bad I pretty much pushed her off the swing so she landed flat on her back hitting her head pretty hard on the ground. Mia is a pretty tough kid and it must of hurt as she cried and cried and cried, making me feel even worse about the whole thing. Anyway after about 15mins of sitting on my lap and crying and just sitting there with her head on my chest I asked her what happened and she said I pushed her off the swing and started crying again!!!
I was nearly crying with her at this point, She start to cough and then vomited all over me and the ground the poor little thing all she could say was get me a bucket. I took her up to the hospital then I thought she might have been a bit concussed or something. As we got to the hospital Sarah our wonderful childrens nurse was coming out and she checked Mia over (Mia was fine at this point I think vomiting helped) and said it would only upset her more by taking her into the hosp. and just keep an eye on her to make sure she didn't get drowzy later in the day, we went back to playgroup and she was fine like nothing had happened.

All I have done this afternoon is wash clothes I have no more pegs left to even hang the 3 loads that I still have to do tonight. I really don't like all these winter clothes!! So much for scrapping.

Here is a photo of what I have to deal with about 10 times a day with Brie, she just loves the fridge and is forever opening it. I think they were trying to tell me something as it was nearly dinner time when I took the pic.

I got this in an email this afternoon & I love choc chip cookies so I am going to make them one day. Not that I have ever heard of this place!
THIS IS A TRUE STORY

My daughter and I had just finished lunch at a Neiman-Marcus Cafe in Dallas.

Because both of us are such biscuit lovers, we decided to try the

"Neiman-Marcus cookie". It was so excellent that I asked if they would give me the recipe. The waitress said with a small frown, "I'm afraid not, but you can BUY the recipe.

" I asked how much, and she responded; "Only two fifty - it's a great deal!"

I agreed to that, and told her to add it to my bill.Thirty days later, I got my VISA statement, and the Neiman-Marcus charge was $285.00. I looked at it again, and I remembered I had only spent $9.95 for two sandwiches and about $20.00 for a scarf.

At the bottom of the statement, it said, "Cookie Recipe-$250.00". That was outrageous!

I called Neiman's Accounting Department and told them the waitress had said it was "two fifty", which clearly does not mean "two hundred and fifty dollars" by any reasonable interpretation of the phrase.

Neiman-Marcus refused to budge. They would not refund my money because, according to them; "What the waitress told you is not our problem. You have>already seen the recipe. We absolutely will not refund your money." I explained to the Accounting Department lady the criminal statutes which govern fraud in the state of Texas. I threatened to report them to >the Better Business Bureau and the Texas Attorney General's office.

I was basically told: Do what you want. Don't bother thinking of how you can get even, and don't bother trying to get any of your money back"

I said, OK, you've got my $250, and now I'm going to have $250 worth of fun." I told her that I was going to see to it that every cookie lover in the world with an e-mail account gets a $250 cookie recipe from Neiman-Marcus... for free. She replied, "I wish you wouldn't do that." I said, "Well, perhaps you should have thought of that before you RIPPED ME OFF!" and slammed down the phone.

So here it is! Please pass it on to everyone you can possibly think of. I paid $250 for this, and I don't want Neiman-Marcus to EVER make another penny from this recipe!

Nope, not a true story--old hoax, but the cookies are probably good! I bet the dancing is just too too cute! I can't even imagine, lol! Poor little girl; I totally know how you feel. I'm glad she felt better quickly! And I also know how you feel about the fridge! My 5 yr old is CONSTANTLY helping himself to food and drinks and snacks from the fridge. Drives me nuts!! Great layout! You are really talented!

Can't wait to try the cookie recipe. Neiman Marcus products feature on Oprah when she has "My Favourite Things" days. Regardless of whether it is a hoax or not, It's a good story. Send me the email that was sent to you & I'll gladly send it on.
I had to put a lock on my fridge to stop Jack going to it all the time. The other two never worried about it.
The night before last, William threw himself out of his cot onto the timber floor at 4.30 in the morning. We were trying controlled crying & he wanted to get our attention. It sure worked!!!

I soooo feel for you about the swing incident. That must have been just awful. I'm glad it all turned out okay.
I use this recipe all the time for cookies and LOVE it, http://allrecipes.com/Recipe/Neiman-Marcus-Chocolate-Chip-Cookie/Detail.aspx. Sometimes I use half white and half milk choc chips which is even yummier. One of our friends says they make him hyper though so watch out.
