{Ok.... Here is the lounge}

I know your looking at it thinking what is wrong with it??? But I just hated it.....and then Salty put the legs on it this morning and it made the world of difference (I think) LMAO!!

Anyway why don't you all let me know what colour cushions I should buy for it.

Amie I love the couch! I do agree that the legs have made a difference to the overall look. I have a dark green lounge and I had (still do but not on couch) funky stripe pillows that have different shades of green and cream. I rekon they would suit? Cream would too with big retro circles in green shades?? (I dunno your tastes tho LOL)

Hi A, I had a giggle at your lounge saga, the legs do make a huge difference. Pink and green go well together, & as green is in at the moment you should be able to get some pattered cushions with a green theme through them on some other colour base like the pink or creme. I'm thinking pink cherry blossoms on a creme backgroud with green leaf reversed through the pattern. You have to say that last line with a gay male accent to get the picture :)

Oh I love it too! And I agree - it looks totally different with the legs on it. Isn't it amazing how much of a difference it has made?!

Enjoy your couch Amie :-)

Hey lady, looks good! I liked the before picture but I love the after picture!

The color is goofy on my computer, so I cant' tell if it's tannish or lt green. If it's green, I'd go with bright crimson pillows! Yah!! If it's tannish, I'd just tie it in with whatever else you have in your house...anything will go with it. =) new furniture is so fun!

I agree with the general population that the lounge looks better with legs. Look through a "Fantastic Furniture" catologue for inspiration. I don't have one around as I threw the latest one out. They alway's have funky cushions on their lounges. I'm hopeless with stuff like that!!

I love your couch Amie!!! I agree with Bri, that it depends on your taste, but some retro pillows in green/chocolate and cream shades would be yummy scrummy. Maybe a dash of burnt orange too??
I think dark denim pillows with a splash of that green (like your couch) would look really cool too - but they may be hard to find. You could always buy some cool fabric and whip up your own pillows :O)
But I think most colours would look really beautiful with it, so whatever you decide will be fabulous...don't forget we will need pics of the pillows you buy too, lol

LOL! I think our couches are almost exactly the same. I hated mine too before I realized I had to put the legs on it. I'll take a picture next time I'm home and send it to you.

Hey amie

There are more uses for a colour wheel than scrapbooking....I will go home tonight and check the co -rdinating colours...my suggestion would be a mixture of creme, chocolate, pumpkin and perhaps even a deep purple, like eggplant. I have a chocolate sofa and my cushions are all different shades of pink, eggplant, creme and choclate. Patterns are also good.

Bright oranges/creams....funky circles or stripes and the legs sure turned a boring piece into a more modern looking lounge...xxx
