{The Big Bike and Banana Bread}

Mia decided last Friday that she didn't want her training wheels on her big bike anymore, so I took them off and look at what she can do..... So we went for a ride to Brooks house and she couldn't tell Kristin quick enough how she can ride her big bike with no training wheels. She is pretty good on the road with listening and stopping when she sees a car which is really good.

Well I have gone Banana Bread mad in this house I have borrowed Salt's mum Bread Maker to make the pizza dough for our yummy pizzas we have been eating.... (I think the novelty has worn off now) and I wondered if it would make banana bread so I found a recipe on Google and made that well it was a complete flop and then I thought I should look in the actual recipe book that came with the bread maker, of course it had a recipe and it is one of the easiest, nicest recipes I have tasted for Banana Bread. I have made 2 loaves and they have both been eaten within the day. We all love it and I had about 12 bananas in my freezer waiting to be made into cakes or bread.

This weekend just gone Forever Always held there monthly cyber crop the challenges were definitely challenges but I am really happy with them.

Challenge 1 was to use paint and let the photo be the focus of the LO, Lou wanted us to use minimal embellishments as well.

Challenge 2 was to use a postage stamp. I think this might be my favorite.

This is challenge 3 we had to create 3 mini LO's 3 x3 I love them and I am going to use them on a 12 x 12 LO.

Kerry I will have to email a pic of the LO so check your emails :o)

This LO is for the current challenge over at Outback Country Crafts.
Thanks for visiting

{Posing for MUM}

Well Mia happily posed for me yesterday.... Brie on the other hand would not sit still! Not once :o(

But I am sure she will one day LMAO when I can bribe her like I can Mia. Mia likes to take photos as well so that is how I get her to sit still and be gorgeous for the camera.

{Scrapjack & More}

This is my LO for this months scrapjack, Kim Archer is this month Jackee and her LO was stunning I loved it, very easy to jack. I must congratulate my fellow DT Member Louise Nelson on being asked to be the newest DT member for Aussie Scrapjack.

This LO is one I did the other day just for something to do it was a double LO but it just didn't work out the way I wanted so I changed it back into a single I am quite happy with it now :o)

Mia painting with puff paint, she had a lovely time thanks Mel

Here are her creation after putting them in the microwave for 30 secs. Lots of fun!

Lastly a photo of Brie in our laundry tub... Grandma has a big laundry tub that the girls love to bathe in and when Brie walked in the back door covered in sand yesterday I wasn't letting her get any further into the house. She looked so cute in there I just had to get the camera out.

Went out to dinner for Leah and Sally's birthday at the motel last night, it was a lovely night.

Well quite tired after my night out would love to stay up scrapping tonight as Sonia did some gorgeous inspiration work this weekend, go check it out in the FA Gallery it is stunning. But I think I am going to go to bed instead :o(

Have a great week everybody :o)

{Hair cuts and Pizza Makers}

Today I got all my hair cut OFF!!! arrrghh anyway I think it might take me a few days to get used to it! I really like it, Mia said she loves it..... Salt's comment was yeah it looks good. I will see how I go tomorrow when I have to do it myself. Mia took this photo of me this afternoon so I could share with you all..... She thought she was pretty special using my new camera.
Yesterday we had home made pizza for dinner using my lovely christmas present my brother gave me... I love it I cooks the yummiest pizza. Salt thought the dough was a bit thick so next time I will make 2 bases with the dough instead of one. I can't wait to start experimenting with different flavours.

This is another LO I did last night for the 123 Challenge. I am really happy with both my LO's lets hope I can get some more done tonight.....

Mia is going really well with her swimming, she is working herself up a real little appetite I don't think she stopped eating yesterday.

Yesterday the girls decided they would empty a box of foam packaging on the floor.... they had fun in it for about 30mins and then decided the box would be even more fun.... until it broke. I tell you cleaning up the mess wasn't fun either.
Hope you all had a great weekend

{Mia can Swim!!! Other news and What we have been up too}

In other huge news ... Mia learnt to swim today all by herself (no floaties) I am so proud of her. She is just so excited and proud of herself!!! I was starting to think she was never going to learn. It is great timing too as she starts swimming lessons again on Wed.

I also had another LO accepted for publication today with Scrapbook Creations it is going to be in issue 55.

Well where do I start??? New years eve would probably be a good start......

Firstly I tried to get our last family photo for 2007 I was only aloud 3 attempts as we were running late as it was!! Then we headed off to celebrated new years with 2 of our good friends Troy and Kristin, and the little kiddies. Salty's sister Kristal also joined us as she had had a big night planned of going to bed early but Salt soon talked her out of that....... it was a great relaxing night with great food and just a bit of alcohol.... just enough so you don't have a hangover the next day!!

The girls all played wonderfully have a ball in the mini pool

I think the highlight of the night was the sparklers.

I think Brooke fell asleep about 11 -11.30pm and Mia at 5mins to midnight.... and Brie well she wanted to go to sleep but getting pushed in the pram wasn't doing it for her so we left just before midnight, I am not good with crying children.

Newyears day I can't even remember what I did.... Salt went back to work anyway!!

Thursday Kristal and I took the kids for some photos at Mullengudgery we got a few cute ones as you can see.

On Friday we left for a friends wedding at Beechworth, what a beautiful spot that is. We had a lovely time away but I really missed the girls I wanted to take them with us but we were also staying at Bundalong on the river and Salt didn't want to take them. I met up with the Briony in Euchueka on Monday after the wedding we had a lovely day chatting I wish we lived in the same town. Jackson is so gorgeous I can't wait to meet Ned and Briony's hubby Luke of course, we are going to meet up again and go camping or something again this year.

This is where Ned Kelly was tried it was all very interesting to look at.

This is the jail and it looks like no-one is there but apparently it houses 130 prisoners. It looked empty to us! You should see the razors on the barbed wire. The other pic is of an old building in the street.

These are some photos of Salt and I posing for each other, then a nice man came along and took one of us together. Michelle looked absolutely stunning not that you can see much from this photo. It was such a gorgeous wedding I had a great time.

Here are some more photos that Kristal has been taking while she has been home, it is great to have someone on the other end of the camera taking photos of me with my kids as I am always doing it. The boys went yabbying before Mark went home so here are some more photos in Kays backyard. I love this one of Salts mum and the grandkids.

How gorgeous is this!

Alex loved this rocking horse

Mark and a Yabby

Grandma with the grandkids.

Alex and Brie driving LMAO....so cute
Mia and Brie posing for Aunty Kristal
{Mia and Mummy in the pool)

We have had no airconditioner since 2 days before christmas and it decided to get really hot on Monday so I have been spending a fair bit of time under Salts mum A/C ours looks like not getting replaced for at least 2-3 weeks.
