Challenge 1, Are you a Pink Lady or a T-Bird.... I chose to be a pink lady. You need to use pink, Bling and Pink Felt.



Challenge 2 for the Forever Always Cyber Crop, you had to use a song title from the movie, 5 embellishments and hearts + heartfelt journaling.... my journaling is hidden on a blank card with the star and button to pull it out.

I have been practicing with my camera this afternoon, Mia doing her little pose for me....

They only thing that would stay still for long enough for me to try and get the blurred background that I love so much in photo's......

Brie didn't really like me taking photo's of her puppy dog..... So she snuggled in and posed too....

Just one more LO how cute is Alexander, Kristal's sent me these photos in the mail on Friday and I just had to scrap them straight away!! This is the first time I have used the Basic Grey rubons in the crowns and wings..... I think it looks cute.

{How Lucky is THIS}

I have just checked in on my friends blog to see this..... LMAO Kristy you poor thing you must have been going off when you realised you lost your camera with all the wedding photos on it..... I am glad someone nice found it and put this in the paper for you to find!!!

Well the dress rehearsal for Mia's concert next week went really well, all the kids look so adorable. There are some great little dancers in the WSPA Angie really does a wonderful job.

Can't wait for next week.

I am off to get my challenges done for the CC at forever always.

{Baby Gemma & Some great news from Scrapbooking Creations}

Yesterday I had my first attempt at photographing babies, OMG it is so hard.... but Lesa is really happy with them so that is what counts.

Not much else happening in the house, Forever Always is having their monthly weekend Cybercrop tonight, so pop over and join in.

{The last few days}

Well it has been a few days and I have been up since 4am so why not update my blog....



What have we been up too, not a great lot! On Saturday we went to the catholic school fete, there were quite a few people there which was great to see. Isn't it funny how it's not until you go to go out and try on clothes that you realise how much weight you have put on!!! NOT HAPPY JAN... I couldn't even do my pants up LMAO... well I wasn't at the time I must have been having a fat week :o( So I have been trying to exercise and eat a bit better in a hope to loose a few kilo's or 500.......... mmmmm back to the fete Kay had given Mia $20 to take to the fete so she could go on the rides and have her face painted so THANKS grandma Mia had a wonderful time :o) Brie on the other hand I kept her in the pram the whole time as she is quite happy to look about, next year she will be able to have lots of fun with her sister.



Santa arrived in the firetruck at about 7.30 I think and Mia was straight in there with every other child in Nyngan.... I was a bit worried about her surrounded by all these kids and was about to go and see if she was alright when out she walked holding a bag of lollies looking very proud of herself! I hope she told him that she wanted a big drum as that is what I have been hearing for the last week. We waited for the crowd to dwindle away and I pushed Brie over to Santa he bent down near the pram and she just looked at him... He held the bag of lollies in front of her and said do you want some lollies??? SNATCH I have never seen her move so quick I think she was a bit scared of him.... but really wanted the lollies! I am glad santa laughed at her. I didn't get there photo taken with him I will take them to Dubbo to have that done as Myer Santa photos are just gorgeous. I don't think Brie is going to be very impressed about having to sit on his lap after her reaction on Sat night but we will soon find out I guess.



On Sunday we went over to Tyson's for his 2nd birthday the girls had a lovely time playing in his little pool. Jo made a yummy birthday cake I just love kids birthday cake...."Happy 2nd Birthday Tyson"



And yesterday after dancing Lucy had a little party in the park, Skye made a yummy cake and gave out lollybags the girls just love parties.... "Happy 4th Birthday Lucy"

Skye has also started making the cutest little bloomers for babies.... I have seen them irl and they are just gorgeous so make sure you check out her blog here They would just make the perfect little present for a new little baby this summer.



Not last night but the night before I put Mia to bed and she just didn't want to go to sleep she kept coming out and saying she was hungry, wanted a drink.... yadda yadda, so when she came out again her next excuse was I want a cuddle, so I went in a gave her a cuddle and started to tickle her tummy she rolled over and said now my back.... so I lay there tickling her back for a while and then she jumped up and said NOW MY FEET! It was so funny I just started laughing at how cute she is. I tickled her feet and she went off to sleep!!!!! What have I got myself into last night she did the same thing.....



After the girl had had their dinner last night I gave them an ice cream each. They both said thankyou well Brie said taaaaaa, and I said to them OK outside and eat them and Mia started to head outside to eat hers "Mia take your sister with you" so Mia said to Brie "Come on SISTER come outside with me and eat it...... " It was so cute, she often calls her sister, and I just laugh.



Well I have been up and finished some DT work so I think I might just head back to bed.....

{Little things that have really made me laugh this week....}

Brie finding my lipstick and putting it all over her face.... lucky it was an old cheap one....

This made me laugh she was just so pleased with herself!

Now I haven't laughed this loud in ages.... The photo just doesn't do it justice but she looks hilarious with this swimming cap on, I still laugh every time I see the photo or think about it.

Every second Tuesday we go to the library for story time. Last night I said to Mia it is bedtime now and she picked her chair up and went into the lounge room sat down and pretended to be the teacher reading the book...... She is just so cute :o)

I am doing my first online class with Forever Always on the 29th of November it is very exciting I am teaching a LO, an OTP and some cards.... The kits are available from Sonia for $20.00 or you can do the class with your own products for $5.00 wish me luck :o)





Not much else has been happening, we have the catholic school fete tomorrow night, Mia will be dancing so that should be great to see.... I will post photos on sat night or sunday.

{Happy 1st Birthday}

Well 1 year ago I created my little blog and I just love it...... I love reading back through my blog and looking at all the photos.

I have made so many new friends which I just love, I got to meet Briony and Sonia irl which was just awesome, hopefully I will be able to meet a few more of you all one day.

1. I love bananas on toast

2. I have dreams that I go jogging...... I would love to do it but I get shin splints thats my excuse and I am sticking toooo it!

3 I am not a tea or coffee drinker, I would rather water or juice.

4. The first car I owned was jinxed.... seriously it was, the first car park I drove into I put a huge scratch along the door from one of those poles, then I was driving back to Sydney a few weeks later and crashed my car! and then I was again driving back to Sydney again I had just got it back from being fixed and a truck drove past me and the house that he was carting fell off and smashed into the front of the car a steel pole went straight throught the radiator on the driver side any higher and I probably wouldn't be here....... Anyway I took it back to the dealership and told them hated the car and I wanted them to do a straight swap on something else.... they did and after I signed the papers the lady said you know it is funny that you said that because the lady we brought it off said the same thing!!!!! Yeah thanks for telling me that NOW :o(

5. I love to cook.... LMAO and eat it!

6. I hate cockroaches, one crawled over me while I asleep when I was about 13 and I have hated them ever since.

7. I think I have the messiest kids in Australia! for instance I cleaned up this morning and they have another mess ggrrrrrrr :o( I just don't know where they get it from.... LOL ooohhhh I know their parents are also the messiest people in australia. I hate mess but I seem to create a lot of it! I think I hate it so much cause I hate cleaning it up!

{Christmas Party}

Last night we went to Salt's work Christmas Party, we had the best night..... We started with a little photo shoot in the backyard, I know I have said this before but I am very lucky that I have a husband that loves to pose for the camera......

We headed out for dinner and enjoyed a great night full of laughs, I caught up with my old boss Rod who I haven't seen for about 3.5years so that was great. It was a buffet style meal which was alright, Salt enjoyed his. That was followed by some speeches and then a Comedian he was one of the funniest I have heard in ages, Our whole table was in HYSTERICS the entire time, he was also a ventriloquist it was just awesome.... Then we all sang Karaoke which was heaps of fun I sang a few songs with Sophie and Nicky and Jackie and one with Salt and ended with one by myself.... Sophie had left by then! We got home at about 2.30am and I was woken at 8.45am to a big bang bang bang on the door it was Ashley making sure Salt was going to Splashers. I went back to sleep and woke up at 11.30 so that was a nice sleep in.

The girls are both asleep now so I must get of this computer and clean up.... or should I scrap and then clean up tonight? mmmmmmmm what to do what to do! If you saw the mess you would be saying clean up LMAO.

This morning I tried to get a photo of the girls in their santa hats!!!! Well how hard is it to get a photo of them together with santa hats on..... They would not be in it! So here is just a few of my favourites.

{Dora the Explorer}

To was great, Mia and Brie just loved every minute of Dora's show. At the end we were able to get photos with Dora and Boots here is a photo of Brooke, Brie and Mia.

I haven't edited these photos yet so I am really happy with the way they have turned out :o) especially in the Palais theatre.

Last night I completed my Melbourne Cup Challenge I had to use Blue and Yellow on the page, I

I have quite a few other challenges I would like to get done so I am off to scrap.

{Busy Busy}

Well today we had a very busy day full of dancing, playgroup and of course the Melbourne Cup. We had a great day, I didn't pick the winner but I won money on 2nd & 3rd.

OMG look how dark it is outside, more rain isn't it great :o)

Tomorrow Dora the Explorer is coming to Nyngan so hopefully I will be able to share some great photos with you all, hopefully Mia and Brie want to get a photo with Dora, Boots and Swiper LOL I am assumming they will be there.

{Get it off MEEEEEEE}

Today there was a cute little frog on the side of our pool, I came inside and said Mia come and have a look at the frog out here. So we went outside and I took a few photos of the frog and then I said to Mia can you have a hold of the frog and mummy take a photo of you holding the frog.

Yes she said, so I picked the frog up and gave it to her........

WOW she said while I was quickly snapping away and then it moved OMG she nearly ripped the poor frogs legs off! I had to tell her NNNNOOOOOO don't hurt him I will get him off just let me take some more photos

This is the last one I got before I think she would have actually hurt the frog if I hadn't of grabbed it!! LMAO I hope I haven't scarred her for life :o) I laugh every time I look at it.....

She had a little swim after that, and kept saying Mummy come and hop in, it is just a bit to cold for me just yet :o)

I had to go to the dentist this afternoon and have 2 fillings, Mia decided that she would come and watch she was so well behaved, when he gave me the needle she said "Did that needle hurt MUMMMY" I had to tell her no, it really didn't hurt that much.

My face felt so funny all afternoon, I have only just got the feeling back.... (weird)

{Just a few photos from today}

This is just my favourite one of all I might even get it blown up onto a canvas, she is sitting in front of a rusty old 44gallon drum in our back back yard.

Poor little Brie had burs in her foot (ouch)..... she just wouldn't pose for me at all!

{It's raining It's pouring Salt's in bed Snoring}

I sound like a farmer but how glad am I to hear the rain on our roof tonight :o)

I just took the cover off the rain water tank and it must have been pretty close to empty as the water sounded like it was falling a fair way iykwim.....

What have I been up to for the last few days, mmmmmm well I made Mia a pair of Pajamas on Thursday when she came home from Pre School, she thought it was great trying on this material while I made her these pretty pj's from scratch :o) They are pretty wild but not bad for a first attempt with no pattern.

Then silly me tripped on the scissors that I had left on the floor cut my foot open and I was very sick and sad that night...... there was lots of blood and it made me feel very queasy :o(

(it is pouring down now I hope it keeps up)

Today I went to work for a couple of hours and then came home and pretty much did nothing until this afternoon when I decided to clean my scraproom up while Brie was asleep, not that it has given me much inspiration to scrap though.

This is my next effort, I have called it Heritage 'Amie' Style

And the next LO is for the monthly sketch competition you can win a $25.00 just by entering your LO into the gallery, it is a really easy sketch this month so why not have a go.

Ok well not much happening here on the weekend I am hoping to get a nice family photo with my new camera, lots of spring cleaning done and some scrapping...... wish me luck!
