{More DT LO's}

Here are some more of my GDT LO's, the focus was on circles for the mid monthly newsletter.

Last night I chatted with the girl participating in the 123 Cybercrop, it is crazy you end up with a headache from staring at the screen keeping up with all the typing.....

I haven't done any of the challenges because you get 2 weeks to finish them.

I have only just turned my computer on for the day and surprise surprise my house is spic and span.... I haven't stopped this morning.

The girls have been playing in there Dirt Hole all week and today was no different they came inside filthy so I put them in the bath while they were in there I decided I would clean the bathroom and toilet and Mia decided that she would clean Brie, she washed her hair and then her body it was so cute. Isn't she a lovely big sister while she was cleaning her she must have noticed Bries little boobies, she kept saying to me LOOK MUM Brie's got boobies..... I just started laughing cause it really does look like she has!

Salt came off N/S this morning and has gone to Walgett to play footy I hope he makes it back in time for work tonight! He is crazy he is going to be so sleep deprived. (Stupid Football).

In other news how excited are we Kristal & Mark have

asked James & I to be baby Alex godparents. He is getting christened when Kristal comes home in July. In these photo's he is 7 & 8 weeks, Kristal said he just loves the monkey mobile he can be cranky and see the monkeys and start smiling!!!

Well Brie has just woken up so I think we might go and visit Grandad & take them to the park.

Have a good day everyone.

123 Challenge

This is my LO for this month at 123 Challenge. I'm not very good at scrapping boys, the criteria's were
Polka Dots
Birds
Acrylic Stamp.
I have hand stitched the birds and the words.

I am happy with it but I think it needs something else.
Here is my Sleepy Bear, it looks a bit anorexic compared to Mels' but I will know to cut from a pattern next time..... This is Brie's as Mia has claimed the Panda!!

Brie just had her needles and she didn't cry nearly as much as I thought she would.

{My Very own Blinkie}

Sonia at Forever Always has been very creative and given us our own blinkies. How cute are they!!!
Photo Sharing and Video Hosting at Photobucket
It was so cold here today that when we went to playgroup this morning we had too leave and take up a huge amount of space in the local bakery with all our prams. I had a pie and caramel slice and it was so yummy, really hit the spot. Mia & Brie shared a pie and a donut as well, it is getting easier to take Brie out to eat as she is starting to eat heaps more.

Played my first game of netball in about 4 years tonight it was so much fun I loved it. (For someone who was whinging and thinking of not playing cause I am so fat!! :0)) First I played GK then went off for a quarter and then GD and then GS I even got 2 goals from 3 attempts. I was buggered when I came home so I bet I will be sore tomorrow!!
Brie is getting he needles tomorrow, they are a bit overdue as I forgot the first week she had turned one, and then she was sick for 3 weeks and then I forgot again last week so tomorrow I will have to go first thing after I drop Mia at Pre-School.

I am off to do some scrapping lets hope the creativity flows.......

{Couch Jumping & Mud Making}

First of all A HUGE HAPPY BIRTHDAY TO

NATHAN

who is 6 today

Mia rang him tonight and said happy birthday, it was so cute.... they are so funny ever since Mia could talk she will talk on the phone to Nathan and James for as long as you will let her!

Couch Jumping and Mud Making - always equals lots of fun as if you can't tell from these photo's..... This is what the girls got up to on Friday morning it was quite entertaining for them, I was just waiting for on of them to hurt themselves. Brie is crazy she just dives off the couch and laughs..... at least Mia tries to land on a cushion!!!

Today this is what the girls got up to while playing in the backyard!! They were having so much fun playing with the mud.... there little hands were so cold, so again once the fun was over they came in a had a lovely warm bath. These are going to be great scrapping.

We went to dancing this morning the kids got to learn a new dance which meant we had a little concert to watch which is always fun.

I did a little scrapping today but I can't share as it is for Forever Always. I have noticed that Kelley has put a lovely LO in the gallery for the monthly sketch comp, come on all you other Nyngan girls why don't you have a go and you never know your luck you might be able to win a $25.00 voucher. hhhhmmm Leah, Skye & Narelle.

I still have the 123 challenge to do and Mel has a sketch for everyone on the Sketches Aussie Style Blog which I can't wait to have a crack at. I did the cybercrop over at The Little Scrapbook Shop on Friday Night I only managed to get the first challenge done as my sister was here and I only really had a few hours to scrap on Monday, there is some lovely work in their gallery.

My computer is sooo slow atm it is driving me crazy I am going to have to ring Telstra and see what is happening I am thinking I am just using my speedy download usage way too quick :o( All this blog stalking isn't good for your usage metre! It is like taking at least 10mins to upload a photo grrrrr.

Mums group is on in the morning I think I will have to make myself stay off the computer tomorrow and do some much needed housework. Brie is making it very hard at the moment to do anything as as soon as I try to do anything she will stand at my feet and squeal until I pick her up..... at least I have an excuse for the pigsty we are living in........ I think it is wearing a bit thin with Salt since I still make time to scrap and sit infront of THIS.

{My first little felt Panda}

Well here is my attempt at making little felt friends..... Don't look too close as it took me too stitch the eyes on before realising that you need to use only a few strands of the thread, I also had too teach myself too blanket stitch again... I can remember doing it in about year 3 at school. Thanks Mel for being so inspirational. I can't wait to make some more.

Well in other news my sister came to visit on saturday, she drove all the way from Sydney so that was nice. She left last night to visit my Aunty in Dubbo, so it was a very quick trip...... We went out to the Coolabah Goat Races yesterday for a few hours. I had never been out there before so it was an experience seeing the goats attached to carts and racing down the strip. There was also a man there entertaining the crowd with his Dog..... the dog was so cute it would jump through the hoop and when the guy put it up really high in the air the dog went and sat in the suitcase and shut the lid, he also juggled and tried to do some magic tricks.

Today Salt has made me help him clean the house and now we are just relaxing I might go and get some scrapping done.

Have a nice public holiday everyone.

{A few photo's of Brie today}

She has learnt too stand up on the tramp, and bend those knees.... that is her jump anyway!!

I think I just like the blue background in this one, I will be able to do a LO with journaling around this photo.

She had had enough and just wanted to get off the tramp by this stage, Brie is used to having Mia to play with all day and Mia was with her Dad out the bush all day today, so Brie was just a bit lonely.
I had to leave her on the tramp as I was hanging the washing out and she had already had her bath for the night..... She decided that playing in the toilet would be a fun thing too do! {.........So Gross :0(......... }

I also thought I better get a photo of Brie eating these mini marshmallows she just loves them and eats a hand full in about 3 seconds flat it is so funny.

Mia and James got home at about 8pm it was a huge day for Mia, she went to play with Stuart & Emma Larsen. Thanks Rosey for looking after her all day! Mia told me she had a lovely time with the kids. She is so funny at telling stories she says it in a way that I can not explain but I can understand what she is talking about. iykwim.....

Anyway I think she will have a hard time getting up for preschool in the morning, hopefully she will sleep in till at least 8.30am. I don't think Brie will as she went to bed at 6.45pm I best go to bed as it is nearly midnight and I have been catching up on my folding from the 8000 loads of washing while everyone is in bed

{Mia's Hospital Visit! - Sort of....}

Here is my LO for the Monthly Sketch at Forever Always.

Well what a day.... We got to dancing this morning and Mia decided that she didn't want to dance which was fine with me....... I am not going to make her dance if she doesn't want too! So I said OK put your jacket on and we will go home - And yes you can all guess we had another episode of "I want too, I don't want too. If I could have got her strapped back into the bike we would have came home but she was too busy crying saying she wanted to dance so I told her to go back in there and dance or we were going home.... She happily went and danced and did a great job, we had another preview of what is to come at the concert in August I can't wait!!!! They are going to be baby elephants.
We came home after dancing to get ready for playgroup, we got to playgroup and Mia asked me to push her on the swing, so I pushed her for a while and I was talking to Kristin at the same time and I wasn't really watching just pushing and Mia must have went to get off, but at the same time I pushed her...... I felt so bad I pretty much pushed her off the swing so she landed flat on her back hitting her head pretty hard on the ground. Mia is a pretty tough kid and it must of hurt as she cried and cried and cried, making me feel even worse about the whole thing. Anyway after about 15mins of sitting on my lap and crying and just sitting there with her head on my chest I asked her what happened and she said I pushed her off the swing and started crying again!!!
I was nearly crying with her at this point, She start to cough and then vomited all over me and the ground the poor little thing all she could say was get me a bucket. I took her up to the hospital then I thought she might have been a bit concussed or something. As we got to the hospital Sarah our wonderful childrens nurse was coming out and she checked Mia over (Mia was fine at this point I think vomiting helped) and said it would only upset her more by taking her into the hosp. and just keep an eye on her to make sure she didn't get drowzy later in the day, we went back to playgroup and she was fine like nothing had happened.

All I have done this afternoon is wash clothes I have no more pegs left to even hang the 3 loads that I still have to do tonight. I really don't like all these winter clothes!! So much for scrapping.

Here is a photo of what I have to deal with about 10 times a day with Brie, she just loves the fridge and is forever opening it. I think they were trying to tell me something as it was nearly dinner time when I took the pic.

I got this in an email this afternoon & I love choc chip cookies so I am going to make them one day. Not that I have ever heard of this place!
THIS IS A TRUE STORY

My daughter and I had just finished lunch at a Neiman-Marcus Cafe in Dallas.

Because both of us are such biscuit lovers, we decided to try the

"Neiman-Marcus cookie". It was so excellent that I asked if they would give me the recipe. The waitress said with a small frown, "I'm afraid not, but you can BUY the recipe.

" I asked how much, and she responded; "Only two fifty - it's a great deal!"

I agreed to that, and told her to add it to my bill.Thirty days later, I got my VISA statement, and the Neiman-Marcus charge was $285.00. I looked at it again, and I remembered I had only spent $9.95 for two sandwiches and about $20.00 for a scarf.

At the bottom of the statement, it said, "Cookie Recipe-$250.00". That was outrageous!

I called Neiman's Accounting Department and told them the waitress had said it was "two fifty", which clearly does not mean "two hundred and fifty dollars" by any reasonable interpretation of the phrase.

Neiman-Marcus refused to budge. They would not refund my money because, according to them; "What the waitress told you is not our problem.You have>already seen the recipe. We absolutely will not refund your money." I explained to the Accounting Department lady the criminal statutes which govern fraud in the state of Texas. I threatened to report them to >the Better Business Bureau and the Texas Attorney General's office.

I was basically told: Do what you want. Don't bother thinking of how you can get even, and don't bother trying to get any of your money back"

I said, OK, you've got my $250, and now I'm going to have $250 worth of fun." I told her that I was going to see to it that every cookie lover in the world with an e-mail account gets a $250 cookie recipe from Neiman-Marcus... for free. She replied, "I wish you wouldn't do that." I said, "Well, perhaps you should have thought of that before you RIPPED ME OFF!" and slammed down the phone.

So here it is! Please pass it on to everyone you can possibly think of. I paid $250 for this, and I don't want Neiman-Marcus to EVER make another penny from this recipe!

NEIMAN-MARCUS COOKIES (Recipe may be halved

{In all the excitement I forgot to check the MAIL}

Look what I got today in the mail, I just said to Salt did you check the mail today?? He hadn't so I went outside and there was heaps of mail, and look what I got!!!

When I won my sleepy bear from Mel Goodsell the other week, I emailed her and asked if where she brought her felt from was close? Well lucky for me it was and I asked if she wouldn't mind if I sent her some money would she pick some colours out for me and send it with the sleepy bear..... Well to cut a long story short she did and out of the kindness of her heart would not take any money from me. Thankyou soooo much Mel I can't wait to start creating these gorgeous little felt bunnies & bears. My pinking shears turned up as well another thing I found on Mel's blog. I think Fiona Carter must cut her ribbon lengths with these scissors as well.
I also won bingo in the 123 cybercrop a few friday nights ago so my rubons and gorgeous little card from Charmane turned up as well. Thanks Charmane....
Ok I am off to bed now.... I really hope the girls both have a sleep tomorrow at the same time now!!!!

{Photo's, Dubbo & A little Baby Boy}

Well I have joined up in a photo a day forum, ( I am supposed to be doing something scrapped a day too like a LO or a card or a OTP - I am 3 days behind already... Oops) so here are the photo's I took yesterday of the girls.... We went out to the river. I am getting a bit low on photos to scrap so this should get a few for me. *giggle*
We went for a little drive to Dubbo today... I felt like McDonalds! LMAO I wish I could use that as my excuse cause I probably only did drive there for Micky D's. I think Brie might be a MD fan as she ate more than Mia... Heaps More!!

No we went to Dubbo because Mia and I both needed tracksuit pants and I wanted to buy Brie a warmer set of PJ's as she doesn't like to keep her blankets on.
While I was in Dubbo I received a text from Kerry that she had had her baby!!!
Congratulations Kerry, Stuart & Girls - how exciting getting a little baby brother. Caleb Sebastian arrived at 11.40am today he was 9p 4o (4.17kg) & 54cm long. You can imagine how excited they would be after having 3 beautiful little girls already!!

Not much else has been happening, Old Salt came over for dinner last night we had the last of the fish that Salt caught it Darwin it was so yummy.... I made apple crumble as well but they were too full to eat it!

Here is my photo for today.... Brie in her warm new PJ's being a rocket just like the piccy on her PJ's Too Cute!!

Well we have Dancing and Playgroup tomorrow so it will be a nice busy morning, lets hope the girls come home and both have a sleep and I might get some much needed scrapping done!

Bri, sorry to hear about your Pa, thinking of you and your family....
Leah I hope your feeling better & lighter and your DC addiction has come back.
Good Night

{Sprinkle's everywhere & Lots of photos}

(click on the photo to see the sprinkles)

Yesterday Mia left the cupboard open and this is how I found Brie I thought she was just a little too quiet!! There were sprinkles everywhere!!! I have seen 100's & 1000's scrapbooking paper somewhere it would be great to find it again and use this photo in a LO.

Well we got up this morning and I decided that we would go for a walk and see the girls grandad, and drop Bailee's birthday present off....(we didn't end up dropping Bailee's present off as Bec has been sick and all the blinds were shut... I didn't want to disturb them) As I walked past the oval I saw that the junior netball was on so I rang Leah on her mobile as I thought if she was over there I would walk over and say hello. She didn't answer her phone instead I got a text saying they were all sick with the flu..... So Leah & family get better soon. So we kept walking up the street and brought some sausages for dinner and then headed over to grandads to say hello, he was doing his washing and just about to go and do the shopping, so we didn't stay long. He was saying that he thought Dean was coming to visit next weekend I think he is getting very lonely without Kay there. He said I told Dean they can all stay here this time!!! I told him that I don't think they are coming until July.

We then went past the craft shop and I brought some patterned paper to do my making memories LOVE Frame... I will share when it is finished.

We came home to get ready for footy, Nyngan are playing Bourke today. I woke Salt up at 12.30 as he is on nightshift and Mia thought she might go over with him and I would get over there before the game started,

well she is going through this stage where she says she wants to do something and then when you say OK she says NO I go with you mum...

Salt said to her Mia are you coming with me?

"No I will go with Mum she said"

so he went out the back door "I WANT TO GO WITH DAD"

Fine Mia go with dad,

"No I go with you".

Salt gets in his car "I WANT TO GO WITH DAD"
Righto go with dad I said you could....
No I go with you.
Salt just about to drive off
"I WANT TO GO WITH DAD"
"I WANT TO GO WITH DAD"
"I WANT TO GO WITH DAD"
We said you could Mia hop in the car then.
No I go with you.

Salt drove off and I was left with her crying.... It's funny when you have the patients to deal with it, if I'm not in the mood well I just get cranky with her very quickly.

We came inside and she wanted to play with my hair so I knew she was tired she was asleep within 5Min's. Brie and I went into the lounge room then otherwise Brie just tries to wake her up by poking her in the eye with stuff..... like hair clips or her finger, or she just kisses her and that sort of stuff!

So then I rang Amanda to tell her we wouldn't be going to footy as Mia was asleep and I spoke to her for just on an hour.

Then I thought I still hadn't taken Brie's photo for her 1 year frame, when Mia turned 1 we had a family portrait taken and shots of her by herself. I thought I could take a decent enough shot of her myself so these are the photo's I got this afternoon. My favorite is the one where you can't really see her face from the sun! Does anyone know how to fix this?

This is my favourite of the girls. Mia woke up just before we went outside, I had asked her if she wanted to come out with us but she didn't. She ended up coming out halfway through which was good as Brie was smiling for her.

Here Mia was saying isn't she beautiful mum! - Can't wait to scrap this photo.

Salt has just got home from footy, They lost the score was 19-12 he thinks. I better go and make dinner for him before he goes to work.

I saw Kellie this morning and gave her Bryce's LO that I did last weekend she loved it.

Hope everybody is having a great Saturday.

{Hi-5 Dancing Girls}
